Approval process sample view
Decision installs a sample Excel Services workbook for the Approval process named apes.xls. The apes.xls file is located in the \Web\ClientSetup\XLServices\Samples directory. The sample workbook includes a view created for Budgeting users to specify a budget for expenses for an application that uses the Approval process to track submitted data. A view created for the Approval process includes a status area that indicates the status of the Approval process data. The status determines whether the view is locked for data entry or is writable. The example shows a view locked against data entry because the data has already been submitted for approval.

The status of the Approval process status is refreshed only when the user changes the off-grid dimension or exits and reopens the workbook.
Only users defined as submitters for the Approval process can specify data. The workbook opens with read-only data for unauthorized users.
