Placing the dimensions and data areas

If you want to place the off-grid dimensions on the worksheet anywhere besides above the data area, we recommend that you use fixed placement of the off-grid dimensions. This is necessary because the data area or the off-grid dimensions can overwrite the other element unless you leave enough room between them. This is especially difficult to do if the off-grid dimensions are placed below the data area, which can change size as the users drill, rotate, and pivot the view.

(CPM/AS Only) If you plan on having users change the display of virtual dimensions, you should use the automatic placement options.
