Availability
All applications that use the view-based mode can also use the cell-based mode. The cell-based mode can additionally be employed by the Strategy Management applications. This table shows which data sources can use each mode:

(CPM Only) Excel Services does not support intercompany data or worksheet detail lines. In addition, while net adjusted data can be reviewed in both modes, you cannot specify journal adjustments using Excel Services. Writeback is only allowed for the Reported member of the Adjusted State dimension.
