To specify salary and headcount details in Employee Budgeting, you must define these:

  • Start date for Employee Budgeting and other general settings
  • Spread methods, hour types, and employee types your company uses
  • Event types that can affect Employee Budgeting

Employee Budgeting is defined on these Detail Budgeting Administrator tabs:

  • Global
  • Spread Methods
  • Hour Types
  • Employee Types
  • Event Types
  • Mappings

You must define spread methods and hour types before you can define employee types. You can also define custom event types.
