Exporting data

  1. Select Tools > Export > Data Entry Tables.
  2. In the Type group, select the table from which you want to export data.
  3. In the Format group, indicate if the file should be a delimited file or an Excel spreadsheet. If it is a delimited file, indicate what character to use as a delimiter. You can select a comma (,), a semi-colon () or a tab from the list, or you can specify any other character for a delimiter (do not select a character that is included in a member name). If the file is an Excel spreadsheet, specify the row where the data should begin.
  4. In the Version list, select the version to use for the export, or select <ALL> to export all members of the Version dimension. The list of versions is limited to only those versions to which the user has read and read/write access.
  5. In the Export File group, specify the full path and file name of the export file.
  6. If your export file uses IDs instead of names, click Member ID from the Export By group. We recommend using member names.
  7. Click Export.
