Beginning balance lines

When consolidating periodic or year-to-date data, the ending balance of the prior period carries forward to the beginning balance line of the current leaf period.

The values for the beginning balance line and the balance sheet movement lines in the previous child period carry forward to the parent period. For example, the March (child period) beginning balance value carries forward into Quarter 1 (parent period). The behavior is the same for periodic and year-to-date views.
