When users are submitting data
It is possible and, in some cases, appropriate to consolidate the entire database when users are submitting data. Be aware that as users submit data to particular cells in the database, there is no way to tell whether that portion of the database has been consolidated yet. Thus, when the consolidation completes, the data that was submitted while consolidation process was active may not have been calculated. This can result in having to run all or a portion of the consolidation process again. In general, consolidating data that users are concurrently updating can affect the integrity of the resulting calculated data.
