ProcessUnsubmittedStatements

The ProcessUnsubmittedStatements parameter determines whether to process all in-scope leaf member combinations or only those with data during a consolidation. These settings are available:

Value Description
0 or N (table only) (Default) Processes in-scope leaf member combination with data only. By default, on the Set Properties page, the check box for this parameter is not selected.
1 or Y (table only) Processes all in-scope leaf member combinations (with or without data)

Selecting the Process Unsubmitted Statements option on the Consolidation page is equivalent to setting the parameter to 1 (or Y).

Set this value to 0 (or N) to maximize performance if all selected units have submitted the required data for processing formulas.

Set this value to 1 (or Y) if you want to compute formulas for units with no data. You may need to use this parameter if a schedule include s cross-dimensional formulas or allocation formulas. These formulas can "pull" data from other places so that even if no data has been submitted for the selected schedule, the formulas on the schedule can use data from other sources.

Using this parameter examines the database much more completely, so processing unsubmitted statements increases the consolidation time and the size of the database. Consequently, if you need to process a schedule with no submitted data for a particular data slice but do not want to process all unsubmitted statements, you can submit a zero to a formula line in the schedule you want to process.

Do not use the ProcessUnsubmittedStatements parameter with the PointConsolidation parameter (when set to 1).

The ProcessUnsubmittedStatements parameter only applies to in-scope leaf members in a level depth consolidation.
