Allocations and cross-dimensional references

If you define formulas that use allocations or cross-dimensional references ("of" clauses) that require calculations to write results to empty sheets, set the ProcessUnsubmittedStatements parameter to 1. Otherwise, set the parameter to 0 to improve consolidation time.

The ProcessUnsubmittedStatements parameter processes all in-scope leaf member combinations, regardless of whether data has been submitted. Since processing unsubmitted statements dramatically increases the consolidation time and the size of the database, using this parameter (setting the parameter to 1) should therefore be restricted to small consolidations only.

For large consolidations, if you need to process a schedule with no submitted data for a particular data slice but do not want to process all unsubmitted statements, set the ProcessUnsubmittedStatements parameter to 0 and then submit a zero to any line on the schedule for any period in the year being consolidated.
