Adding a CPM Relational connection - Oracle
To add a CPM Relational connection for Oracle:
- On the Manage Data Sources page.
- Click CPM Relational as the connection type. and select
- Specify a name for the data source. The name must be unique.
- Select Model as the category.

To define the Relational Connection:
- Select Oracle.
- Specify the user name of the schema owner.
- Specify the password for the administrator user.
- Specify the name of the host computer on which the Oracle software is installed.
- Specify the name of the Oracle service.
- Specify the port number. The default is 1521.
- Select the database to connect to the data source. If necessary, click to update the list of available databases.
- Specify the TNS name. This name is required and must be set up in the tnsnames.ora file. The TNS name in the tnsnames.ora file includes the host name, service name, and port number for each TNS name.
- Select the Oracle 64-bit home driver.

To define the CPM Server Connection:
- Select the network protocol. You can choose http or https. The default is http.
- Specify the name of the server computer on which the CPM Server software installed. The server name specified here must match the server name specified in the ConnectionDefinitions.config file.
- Specify the port number of the server computer specified in the previous step. The default is 90.
