Gauge elements
The Elements tab enables you to select gauge text and color elements and customize them as desired. For example, you can change the font for scale labels or change the color of border color.
Elements are separable gauge items contributing to a whole gauge. The main elements are the gauge itself, the title and footnote. Gauge sub-elements include the scale, scale labels, indicator, cap, tick marks, annotations and zones.
These elements are available:
Gauge. The gauge object which is all gauge elements collectively. The gauge background color can be customized.
Border. The border of a gauge defines the outline style of the gauge element, which includes shape, color, and 3-dimensional effects like shading and glare. The border (foreground) color can be customized.
Footnote. An element consisting of the textual gauge footnote. You can change the font and its attributes such as size and color.
Indicator. The indicator pointing to a specific position on a scale represents the gauge value, the most important part of a gauge. All gauges have indicators and scales in some form, except when the gauge has no value - the indicator is not drawn. The indicator (foreground) color can be customized.
Inside. The gauge interior background (inside the gauge border). The inside (background) color can be customized.
Scale Bar. Because the scale has a thickness, making it 2-dimensional, the scale bar is the entirety of the scale, encapsulating the scale border, tick marks, width and color. The bar (foreground) and its outline (background) colors can be customized.
Scale Labels. Scale labels appear around the perimeter of radial and alongside linear scales, as well as indicating the optional factor multiplier for the gauge value and scale. The factor is positioned below center in radial gauges and in the bottom center in linear gauges. Scale label font and color can be customized.
Title. An element consisting of the textual gauge title. You can change the font and its attributes such as size and color.
