Option Description Series Direction Either grid rows or columns can be mapped to chart series. This is known as the series direction. If grid rows are mapped to chart series, the series direction is by row. If the relationship is changed to map grid columns to chart series, the series direction is by column. By Row. This option specifies that the selected members from the grid’s down dimension are the series members. By Column. This option specifies that the selected members from the grid’s across dimension are the series members. Stacking Series stacking is an option in some simple charts which stacks all series within each category, giving a cumulative view of the data that shows the relationship of individual items to the whole, as well as the relationship of category sums. When a bar chart is unstacked, all series in a category appear side by side; when stacked, each category contains one bar made from stacking each series on top of each other, resulting in a category value which is the sum of all series in that category. Stacking can be applied to bar and area charts. Bar Direction This option is available for bar charts. The Horizontal option produces horizontal bars extending from the left side of the plot; the X axis appears vertical on the left side of the plot, and the Y axis appears horizontal on the bottom of the plot. The Vertical option produces vertical bars extending from top to bottom of the plot, the Y axis appears vertical on the left side of the plot, and the X axis appears horizontal on the bottom of the plot. - Click .
