ERP integration

For ERPs integrated with CPM, a Business Edition model is set up from the source ERP using the Model Builder Wizard. The Model Builder Wizard initializes, defines, loads, and consolidates the model. With integrated ERP's, no additional database work is required for drill through from CPM back to the source.

CPM integration is enabled once an ERP publishes a standardized set of source views. See Knowledge Base article 1023964 for information on setting up these views. The views must have the exact names and layout as specified in the document. The views allow CPM to automatically import structure and data from the ERP into the CPM model, and set up the necessary elements for drill through.

Currently, two Infor ERPs publish the standardized views: XA and SyteLine. XA has zero custom dimensions and supports drill through. SyteLine can have up to four custom dimensions and supports drill through.
