Deleting members

When you delete a member, the data associated with the member is deleted. If you delete only the relationship, the data is not deleted.

Consolidation must be run to remove the member's data from Consolidation nodes.

To delete a member and all its children:

  1. Select the member to be deleted.
  2. Expand the tree so you can see the selected member's children.
  3. Ensure that you expand each member's branch until you reach the member that has no children; it means you have reached all the leaf members in the tree.
  4. You can also select multiple members to delete using the standard Windows Ctrl and Shift key combinations such as Ctrl+click and Shift+click. Click Delete Member.
  5. Click Yes to confirm deletion.
  6. Click Save.
