Sample models
To define a sample model, on the main page, select Build a sample CPM Model and click .
The Create and define a CPM sample model option builds the database and the model through the Model Builder. Database administrator credentials are required if you choose to create and define the database and the model.
The Define a CPM sample model in an existing CPM database option builds only the model through Model Builder. To build only the model, the database administrator must have created the database using either the Ctrain_ModelCreate_SqlServer.sql or Ctrain_ModelCreate_Oracle.sql file located on the CPM Server computer in the ProgramData\Infor\CPM\Architect\Database Creation Scripts director. The Model Builder user must be added as a SQL login mapped to the new production and _A databases.
You can build a CTrain or Business Edition sample model. If you are building a CTrain model, you can load sample financial and exchange, detail budgeting, and Workforce Budgeting data.
If you are building a Business Edition model, you can select the number of user defined dimensions to include. The default is four dimensions. You can also load sample financial and exchange data.
