Step two: Assign the affiliate attribute to units involved in intercompany transactions

Many companies have thousands of business units, only some of which are involved in intercompany transactions. In Architect, these units are designated as Affiliates. An affiliated unit can enter elimination data and may be selected as the target unit for another unit's intercompany data.
