Adding a formula

This section provides a general description of the steps to adding a formula.

To add a formula:

  1. Open the Formula Builder page.
  2. Select a CPM model.
  3. Select Activity > Check Out.
  4. Select a schedule line.
  5. Select a line type.
  6. Add the formula. You can:
    • Use the function buttons. Clicking a function automatically adds the correct syntax to the formula pane.
    • Copy and paste formulas from other schedule lines.
    • Drag members from the Members list and drop them into the formula.
  7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 to add or edit other formulas.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Select Activity > Check In.
  10. Click Release.
