Create database-authenticated users
After the database is created, you must establish user security by creating user names, IDs, and passwords within Microsoft SQL Server. Typically, the Microsoft SQL Server DBA completes this step. If you are not the DBA but intend to complete this step, you must have sufficient privileges in the Microsoft SQL Server application to create users and grant them access to the CPM database. If your DBA performs this step, recommend that they use these instructions.
Before you begin, identify which users will be administrators. They must be added to the authorized database and to the production database.
You can use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
