Step 1
The first step collects information about the source 10.1 views database.

Server Name is the name of the computer running the SQL Server software. User ID is the user name to access the database. This is generally the views database owner or administrator. Password to access the database. Views Database is a list of databases that can be migrated. Refresh updates the Views Database list. You must click Refresh to populate the Views Database list. |
| Oracle options |
TNS Service Name specifies the TNS name. Or Host Name specifies the name of the host computer on which the Oracle software is installed. Port specifies the port number. The default is 1521. Service Name specifies the name of the Oracle service. User ID specifies the user name of the database owner or administrator. Password specifies the password for the database owner or administrator. |
