The Direct Investor Relationships data entry page enables you to identify holding companies and enter the direct ownership percentage for each of their invested companies. The Ownership Properties data entry page enables you to enter ownership properties by period for each holding, control holding, and investment company. The ownership properties include items such as the effective ownership percentage, the effective control percentage, and the consolidation method,

To use the ownership tasks, you must have created the database with the Ownership Process option turned on.

The ownership views specify the default settings and allowed members used on the ownership data entry forms. If you can use the same defaults, you can use the same view you are using for Intercompany data entry.

The Task parameter specifies the type of data entry page. Use InvRel if the page is for Direct Investor Relationships data entry. Use OwnProp if the page is for entering ownership property data entry.
