Navigation menu administration

CPM provides an administrative component to define the navigation interface. Each application in Infor Corporate Performance Management has a unique navigation.

The top level menus are displayed at the top of the page and utilize fly-out menus or the navigation panel. This is the first level of grouping/organization. For example, Budgeting includes Budget Collection, Process Accounts, Workforce Budgeting Administration, and Approval Process Administration. Menus provide subsequent levels of differentiation.

The Navigation administration component is secured by user. You can give specific users rights to access and manage the navigation by providing them access to the Navigation Administration command on the Administration menu. The users must also be included in the Navigation Administration Navigation Group.

The Navigation administration component is secured in two ways. First, the user must have access to the Navigation Administration page. Second, the user must be included in the Navigation Administration permission group. The navigation administrator's access to other functionality is limited by the navigation menu item permissions and application data security access.
