Business Edition structure

The Business Edition is designed to be updated with the specific accounts, organization structure and activity or custom dimension members reflecting the customer's business requirements. There are three approaches to updating these members.

The first approach is use Architect to manually add the required dimensions. The second approach is to enter customer-specific information into the Business Edition Application Template to produce text files to import into the Business Edition. The third method is to directly connect to an ERP source system to import structure using the Model Builder.

The Business Edition Application Template is managed and distributed by the Infor Consulting Service group as part of an implementation. They also assist in describing how the template is used during on-site implementation consultations.
