Consolidation Status Monitor
Relational
Consolidation Status Monitor provides you with a way to view your consolidation status. Consolidation status is tracked by schedule, year, version, currency, rate set, and periods. You can view the report by schedule or by the specified reporting dimension. The reporting dimension is typically the Unit dimension or a custom hierarchical dimension. Other non-detail hierarchical dimensions are tracked only by top level members.
The Consolidation Status Monitor page enables you to review the consolidation status and quickly determine if there are areas that need attention. The view is used for the default settings and allowed members.
You can bypass the selection page and go directly to the status page. When bypassing the selection page, there are three additional parameters: Format, Mode, and Descendants. The Format parameter has one option: Grid. Grid shows a grid on the status page. The Mode parameter has two options: Detail and Schedule. Detail places the detail dimension on-grid. Schedule places schedules on-grid. The Descendants parameter can by Y for yes or N for no. The Descendants option is ignored if you specify Schedule for the Mode option. The Format, Mode, and Descendants parameters are optional. If not specified, Grid, Detail, and All are assumed.
You can hide the Run Auto Consolidation option that appears on the Consolidation right-click menu by setting the RC parameter to N. The valid values for this parameter are Y for yes or N for no. Specify Y to display the command. The default behavior is to show the menu command. The default is used if the parameter is missing or has an invalid value.
Dimension information
- The on-grid member for merged period/year must be a single year if the view is used to directly link to the ConsolidationStatus display page.
- The Period or Period/Year dimension defaults to on-grid members if the Grid parameter is specified.
These rules apply to any non-detail tracking dimensions:
- The off-grid member must be the top level member in the hierarchy.
- The allowed members must be top level members in the hierarchy.
- The user must have access to at least one allowed top level member.
- If it is flat, any members are allowed. The off-grid member is used as the default.
The detail tracking dimension defaults to the off-grid member.
