Customize dimension display

There are several options you can use to customize the display of dimension and member names.

• You can display the name, description, name plus description, or custom text. One example of how you might use this is the Schedule dimension. You could display general ledger account codes (the member name) and their general ledger account names (the member description).
• You can display a custom text string instead of the name or description. Custom text is associated with a view and is included when a view is duplicated or imported.
