Intercompany eliminations journals

The Intercompany Eliminations journal must reference all balanced lines (balanced line attribute = Y) or all non-balanced lines. This includes the lines referenced as Match, Match With, Post remainder, and Post proportional. When all lines referenced are balanced lines, the Intercompany Eliminations journal is a balanced journal.

This group of audits is related to the rules for the Account type of the lines that are included in a balanced Intercompany Eliminations journal.

• A balanced Intercompany Eliminations journal must include lines in the Match accounts that all have the same account type.
• A balanced Intercompany Eliminations journal must include lines in the Match With accounts that all have the same account type.
