Setting properties

CPM's BOD service properties must be set to specify where to read the BOD messages from and where to output the results. This is a one-time setup step using the Set Properties page. These properties are in the BOD Control category. You can sort by category or service to group the BOD related properties together.

  1. Open the Set Properties page.
  2. Go to the componentConnectionName line. From the Value column, select the data source name that connects to theCPM BOD database. This property is used for reading and publishing BODs.
  3. Go to the messageConnectionName line. From the Value column, select the appropriate data source name from which BODs are read. This property is used by the BOD shredding service. It is not used in publishing BODs.
    • If you are using ION to route the BOD messages, select the data source name that connects to the CPM BOD database. The value should match that of the componentConnectionName.
    • If you are not using ION, select the data source name that connects to theInfor source system database.
  4. Go to the messageSourceTableName line. In the Value column, specify the appropriate database table name. This property is used by the BOD shredding service. It is not used in publishing BODs.
    • If you are using ION to route the BOD messages, specify COR_INBOX_ENTRY.
    • If you are not using ION, specify the table name where BODs are published in the Infor source system database. The value is likely to be COR_OUTBOX_ENTRY.
  5. Go to the logicalIDInstanceName line. In the Value column, specify the desired logical ID for this CPM instance name as established in the ION routing. This property is used only for BOD publishing.
  6. Go to the tenantId line. In the Value column, specify the desired Tenant ID for BODs published by CPM. The default value is infor. This property is used only for BOD publishing.
