Version

The Version dimension defines the data types to store in the database. Examples are Actual, Budget Pass 1, or Target.

You can use the Version dimension to perform version control in Budgeting. Select a version dimension member to always be the current budget. When you complete a pass of the budget, copy the current pass to another version for later reference. When you create your data entry templates, select the current version so that Budget Holders enter data only into that version.
