Configuring CPM Server for language support

Language packs for CPM Server are included as part of the basic installation. After installation you must run a batch file that replaces the English resource files with localized versions of the resource files.

To configure CPM Server for language support:

  1. Access the CPM Server computer.
  2. Go to the Program Files (x86)\Infor\CPM\Webx86\Workstation\Translate directory.
  3. Go to the directory for the language you want to install.
  4. Open a command prompt and run copyfiles.bat.
  5. Go to the Program Files (x86)\Infor\CPM\Shared Files directory.
  6. Go to the directory for the language you want to install.
  7. Open a command prompt and run copysharedfiles.bat.

The directories referenced above apply to a new installation that was done using the default values. If a previous version of CPM was installed on the computer or if the default directory values were not used, the path to the Translate and Shared Files directory is different. For example, if you are installing on a computer with 10.1.x installed, the default location for the Shared Files directory is Program Files (x86)\Infor\PM\Shared Files.
