Approval Process Relationships
The Approval Process Relationships page is used to assign users as submitters and/or approvers for specific units.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Approval Dimension | Displays the Approval dimension. Typically this is the Unit dimension. |
| Select Members | Open the Member Selection dialog box. You can select one or more units. Do not select an elimination or ownership unit. Any attempt to assign users to these units will fail. Selecting a consolidation unit as Self does not automatically include the descendants in the relationship. |
| Approver / Submitter | List of user names. Only users assigned to
security profiles are available in the lists.
You can assign multiple submitters and multiple approvers to the same unit, but you cannot add the same user twice as a submitter. That is, each submitter can only have one approver for a specific unit. For example, if Approver A is the approver for Submitter A for New York, then Approver B cannot also be an approver for Submitter A for New York. You can assign the same user to be an approver for one unit and a submitter for a different unit. You can assign the same user as both the approver and submitter for a specific unit. |
| Assign Relationship | Assign the relationship. The users immediately have read-write access to the assigned units. |
| Delete All Relationships when Approver / Submitter | List of user names. Only users assigned to security profiles are available in the lists. |
| Delete All Relationships | Delete all relationships for the selected user. |
| Current Member Approval Assignments | Displays the current assignments. To delete a relationship for a specific units click the icon to the left of the member. |
