Custom models
To define a custom model, on the main page, select Build a custom CPM Model and move to the next page.
The Create and define a CPM custom model option builds the database and the model through the Model Builder. Database administrator credentials are required if you choose to create and define the database and the model.
The Define a CPM custom model in an existing CPM database option builds only the model through Model Builder. To build only the model, the database administrator must have created the database using either the Ctrain_ModelCreate_SqlServer.sql or Ctrain_ModelCreate_Oracle.sql file located on the CPM Server computer in the ProgramData\Infor\CPM\Architect\Database Creation Scripts directory. The Model Builder user must be added as a SQL login mapped to the new production and _A databases.
The left section of the page is empty until you have selected a starting point and clicked Next.
Before creating your custom model, we recommend creating a sample model so you can get a better idea of what to expect when you create your own model. You can also use the sample model as a source of ideas for your own model.
