The Top Down Spreading data entry page enables you to look at your data, change the values and then push it down to the lowest level. The Top Down Spreading report enables you to spread a consolidated value to leaf members.

The Top Down Spreading views specify the default settings and allowed members used on the Top Down Spreading pages. To use the report, you must add a page that points to the CT BTD Consolidated Sales view. The Top Down Spreading pages are data entry forms, therefore you can have multiple views.

For your customized database, you need to delete the existing CTrain pages and create new ones. The default behavior is for local currency spreading. Use the optional Curr parameter for consolidated currency spreading. This enables you to quickly create customized data entry forms from Top Down Spreading views.
