Rate

The Rate dimension defines the rate definitions associated with each schedule line. For example, you can use rate codes to translate balance sheet lines (point-in-time amounts) differently than profit and loss lines (periodic amounts). Each rate code can have a different exchange rate factor for each foreign currency and accounting period. Each schedule line is assigned a rate code by the administrator.

These are the default members:

  • Historical Rate
  • Period End Rate
  • Average Rate
  • NA (not applicable)

Rate codes enable you to translate accounts differently from other accounts.
