Displaying the name and description

You can display the dimension name and description and the member name and description. The name and description are specified when the model is created and cannot be changed.

Some pages and reports display the member name or member description based on the member name setting of the Unit dimension in the view associated with the page. For example, if the unit dimension member is set to display the member name, all other dimension members are displayed as name. The Name + Description option is not supported.
