CPM Workstation overview

This guide provides an overview of the information necessary for implementing and maintaining CPM Workstation. The sample views for the CTrain application are discussed in this guide, along with instructions on how to make minor alterations to the views.

CPM Workstation helps companies collect data from a variety of sources, manage it in a shared, secure database, produce financial reports, and deliver critical data and reports to analysts, managers, and executives. CPM Workstation provides two applications, Budgeting and Financial Consolidation, each of which delivers unique functionality. CPM Workstation also facilitates drilling back to the source data.

The Budgeting application is an integrated budgeting, analysis, and reporting application designed to improve the budget development team's productivity, shorten budget cycles, and allow organizations to create budgets that support management in evaluating their investment plans.

The Financial Consolidation application is an integrated financial data management, analysis, and reporting application designed to allow accountants and controllers the ability to prepare consolidated results reflecting intercompany eliminations, ownership adjustments and closing entries.
