Switch AppServer to OS authentication mode
Before you switch the authentication mode, you must ensure that these steps have been completed:
- Create the database using Architect and AppServer. The database owner is the only person with permission to create the database. By default, the database owner has a user ID that is identical to the name of the database. AppServer must be in database authentication mode for you to sign in as the owner when you are using Architect to create the initial database objects.
- Create an OS authenticated administrative user using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. See Create authenticated users.
- Give the OS authenticated user administrator privileges within Architect.
