Clearing the cache

A cache is a space in the computer's hard drive and in RAM memory where the browser saves copies of previously visited web pages. The browser uses the cache like a short-term memory. Instead of downloading an image from a recently viewed website, it loads the image from the cache. This makes the browsing process a little quicker.

When a cache is cleared, all the files in the cache folder and memory are deleted.

To clear the cache:

  1. Open the Navigation Administration page.
  2. Click the Design Navigation tab.
  3. Select Tools.
  4. Select Clear Cache.
