Group Hierarchy

Using the Group Hierarchy, you can show all the groups within all hierarchies of a dimension. By default, the base group is always selected.

The groups show the default and alternate hierarchies. The default hierarchy is in the middle and the alternate hierarchies branch off from the default hierarchy.

In Architect, groups are represented as ovals. The oval colors indicate the group hierarchy:

• Green. Indicates the top of a default hierarchy.
• Blue. Indicates the top of the alternate hierarchy.
• Gray. Indicates a consolidation group.
• Red. Indicates a base group.
