Adding an intercompany data entry page
You can set up an intercompany data entry view that specifies the default settings and the allowed members. When setting up the intercompany data entry page, you must use the reporting and data entry template. You must also use the Intercompany data cube. The intercompany data cube is described under Data cubes.
All intercompany data entry views should allow the same set of currencies. A currency should not be disallowed in any intercompany data entry view once data has been submitted for that currency.
You must allow some schedules that contain intercompany lines or the Schedule list on the intercompany data entry page will be empty. Be sure to allow the intercompany lines, also.
You must allow some affiliated units. For example, units with an Eliminations Status of "A" or the Unit list on the intercompany data entry page will be empty.
- Open the Navigation Administration page.
- Click the Design Navigation tab.
- Right-click a folder or an existing page and select Add Page. You can add the page as a child or as a sibling.
- Specify the name for the page in the Default Name box.
- Specify the URL for the page.
- Browse to the image to use for the thumbnail view.
- Browse to the image to use in the preview window.
- Select the groups that should have access to the page. Select the Inherited check box if you want the page to inherit permissions from its parent so you do not need to set individual permission on the page.
