Table dialog box

The Table dialog box is where you select the table from which to import the structure. You can restrict the import to specific columns (fields) within the selected table. Once you have selected a table and specified the columns to use, you can define filters on the columns to further restrict the import.

These are the dialog box options:

Option	Description
Catalog	Schema or database name set under the data source properties. Click the ellipsis button to open the dialog box where you can select another schema or database. This is for Oracle and SQL Server data sources.
Table	Name of the table from which to load the structure. Click the ellipsis button to open the Choose Table dialog box where you can select the table to use. This is for Oracle and SQL Server data sources.
Fields	Opens the Choose Fields dialog box. From the Available fields list, select the columns you want and move them to the Selected fields list. The columns in the Selected fields list appear on the Columns tab where they can be mapped. Use the arrow buttons to move fields between the lists.
Rows	Displays the first 100 rows from the selected table.
Sort	Opens the Sort dialog box.
Filter	Currently defined filters. Click Filter to define or change a filter. Filtering lets you reduce the amount of data being loaded.
