If the ComshareUserSettings.xml file does not exist, verify that you have write privileges to the directory and its sub-directories.

If the ComshareDefaultSettings.xml does not exist:

  • Verify that you have write privileges to the All Users\Application Data directory and its sub-directories.
  • Reinstall the product.

If both files exist:

  • Delete the ComshareUserSettings.xml file.
  • Start Architect again and save your preferences.

If your preferences are still not saving:

  • Delete both files again.
  • Reinstall the product.
