Carefully select the data transfer segmentation size to match your hardware. The Data Loader splits the data file in chunks and sends them one-by-one to the Server. Setting the value too small increases the roundtrips between the engine and client. Setting the value too large consumes too much memory in your client machine. This option is available only through script and can be done by setting setSize property in the script.
