Map Dimensions/Members dialog box

The Map Dimensions/Members dialog box lets you map the dimension properties to the structure data. Flat dimensions are mapped once. Hierarchical dimensions are mapped twice, once for groups and once for members. Schedule dimensions require that schedules and lines be mapped separately.

The appearance of this dialog box varies according to the dimension type.

These are the dialog box options:

If this option is not enabled, see Import structure from Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle tables.

Keep existing Architect formula if import formula is not present

Prevents existing formulas in the model from being overwritten if the source file or table does not have a formula specified for the schedule line. This option is available for the Schedule dimension.

Order in application based on source file order

Updates the order of the dimensions, schedules, or schedule lines based on the order in the structure file.
