Effect of read-only security on loading data
To load data, you must have read and write access to the dimension members to which you are loading data. You cannot load data to any dimension member to which you have read only access or no access.
If you are using the Data Loader and select the Ignore error check box, the data load will not terminate until the number of total violations exceeds the maximum number of errors. If you did not select the Ignore error check box, the data load is terminated when the first violation is encountered.
Erroneous data records are written to a file named after the load file along with a load number. This file has a .BAD extension.
See Error log file for further information.
