Allocations

Allocations define the assignment of workforce expenses across the allocation dimensions that are selected when Workforce Budgeting is configured by either Model Builder or Model Maintenance. An Allocation definition contains a specification percentage for every leaf period in workforce budgeting.

For import, Allocation IDs must be supplied to serve as internal identifiers. These IDs are used in any subsequent loads that include an Allocation definition. An Allocation definition can contain several records but the allocation must sum to 100% for every period. At least one default allocation definition is required. The default ALLOCATION_ID must match the ALLOCATION_ID specified in the Global Settings load. Allocation definitions can also be defined for individual Position Assignments and or Action Assignments. The ALLOCATION_ID must match the ALLOCATION_ID specified in the Position Assignment and or Action Assignment load. If no position or action allocations exist, the Global Settings allocation is used.
