Column Mapping
The Column Mapping tab enables you to map the source data to the CPM model.
These are the tab options:
Option | Description |

Auto Map | Click Auto Map to automatically map the dimensions to the source columns. Matching is based on an internal set of aliases that are matched to the header names in the source file. |
Clear | Clear the current mappings. |
Fields to Map | This section lists the Workforce Budgeting fields. Required fields are highlighted. A check mark in the box to the left of the name indicates the field has been mapped. |
CPM Dimension Configuration | This section pertains to the dimensions in
the CPM model. This section is available for:
The Member column shows the name of the Workforce Budgeting field. The Source column is used to specify the source for the dimension. Select Column if the dimension member is in the source file. Select Member to open the Member Selection dialog box where you can select a member. The CPM Member column shows the selected member. The Type column is used to specify whether to use the member name or member ID for mapped dimensions. Note: If a single version is selected in the
Clear and Load
Version option, it is displayed as read-only on the
Column Mappings
tab.

Workforce Default Settings | This section enables you to select a default value for
key Workforce Budgeting fields. This section is available for:
The Fields column shows the name of the Workforce Budgeting field. The Source column enables you to specify the source for the default value. Select Column if the dimension member is in the source file. Select Default to use the default value. The Load Default column enables you to select a default value. |
Source | Source file and column mappings table. You can drag and drop from the Fields to Map section to this table. |
