Mapping

The Mapping page is used to map data from a Workforce Budgeting view to the CPM model. After a mapping is set up, Workforce Budgeting data is automatically entered into the mapped schedule line when budget holders calculate their Workforce Budgeting data.

This table shows the page options:

Option Description
Save any changes.
Refresh the page to the last saved state.
Clear Mapping Clear the mapping for the selected rows.
Calculate Calculate the data through all budget periods.
Schedule List of schedules. This list contains all allowed schedules with periodicity matching Workforce Budgeting periodicity. If you select All, duplicate lines are removed from the list.
Mapping Method

Select a mapping method. Choose from:

  • Single Line
  • Advanced

Select Single Line to map a single action to a single schedule line.

Select Advanced to map a single action to multiple schedule lines.

Show

Select the lines to display in the table. Select one or more of the following options:

  • Mapped Lines
  • Unmapped Lines
  • Formula Lines
Schedule Displays the schedule name.
Action List of actions.
Attribute Name List of attributes. This column is visible when Advanced is selected as the mapping method.
Attribute Members List of attribute members. This column is visible when Advanced is selected as the mapping method.
Modified By User ID of the person who last made a change.
Modified On Date and time of the last modification.

Data entry lines display in black. Formula lines display in red.

If you map data to a formula line, and a schedule that includes the formula line is consolidated, the mapped data is overwritten by the results of the formula.
