Transfer Out

This action type is used to record transferring position assignments from one dimension member to another dimension member. This action automatically generates a Transfer In action when the receiving member accepts the transfer.

When the Transfer Out is accepted, actions in the source primary dimension member are not calculated beyond the transfer effective date. The calculations end on the day before the Transfer Out start date. When a transfer is accepted, calculations begin in the destination as of the Transfer Out start date. Calculations end in the source member on the day before the Transfer Out date.

No actions may be saved after the Transfer Out date on a position which has an accepted Transfer Out action.

No default value can be specified for this action type.

End dates are not allowed.

This action type cannot be applied to authorized budgets.
