Employee attributes

This section describes the employee attributes included in Workforce Budgeting.

  • Active Employee. This attribute indicates whether the employee is active or inactive. If you make this field inactive, it is automatically set as active for all employees. This attribute is optional.
  • Anniversary date. This attribute is used for applying actions. This attribute is optional.
  • Employee Id. This attribute is required if budgeting by employee. Set this attribute to zero to omit the Budget Level options from the Workforce Budgeting report.
  • Employee Name. This attribute is required if budgeting by employee.
  • Employee Note. This attribute is used to include notes about the employee. Notes are not used in calculations or to apply actions. This attribute is optional.
  • Hire Date. This attribute is used for applying actions. This attribute is optional.
  • Primary Location. This attribute is used for applying actions. This attribute is optional.

There are three additional date attributes, four additional numeric attributes, and seven additional string attributes that you can customize for employees in your application. For example, you can define attributes for marital status and number of dependents.
