Understanding the basic formula map

The formula map breaks down the calculated result of the selected formula and primary data into its component parts. The map is collapsible and shows the value for the mapped formula and each of its components (including any negative values) and the member names or descriptions, if labels were included.

If labels are not included in the map, the formula and its components show a default name that includes the workbook name, the sheet name, and the cell reference.

To view the cell worksheet name and cell reference in a node with labels, click the component value in the node. The information displays in the formula bar. Alternatively, you can view the cell worksheet name and cell reference by double-clicking on the component value in the node.
