Inserting data
There are two ways to insert cell-based data onto a worksheet: using the Insert Block tab to insert an entire block of data at a time or using the Insert Value tab to insert one value at a time.
The Insert Members tab inserts dimension names and dimension member names. It is used in conjunction with the Insert Value tab; however, the Insert Value tab can also be used alone.
After inserting data, if a formula is too long or is invalid, an error message is displayed, indicating that the cell is not be available for locking or top down spreading. In this case, see "Formula Cannot Be Locked or Top Down Spread".
